Tony (played by Abdul Salis) is Collin Frissell's best friend. He is also the production assistant of the film that is the meeting place of John and Judy. When being introduced, John says, "I'm John," to which Judy replies, "I'm just Judy," He then says, "Oh, ok. Hi, Just Judy," This is pretty much the first thing they say to one another. They then continue to talk about the traffic.

Mia (played by Heike Makatsch) does her best to seduce Harry in the office and eventually, he does crack. Though he's happy with his wife, Karen, and his two children, his curiosity gets the best of him and he shows many signs of weakness in the weeks leading up to Christmas. When he decides to buy a necklace for Mia, Karen finds him nearly purchasing the item from the jeweler (Rowan Atkinson) at the mall. She later finds a necklace in his jacket and pretends she knows nothing about it. Anticipating the gift on Christmas Eve, she opens the present to find he actually purchased a Joni Mitchell CD for her. When they bring the children to their play in the end of the film (where their daughter plays 'the first lobster' in the manger scene) she gets him to admit that he was a fool. While the two of them stay together in the end, their scene at Heathrow airport shows that the situation is still a bit unsettling for them both.

Like many parts of London, Wandsworth has both high-end and low-end (Natalie's dodgy end) areas. One can find elegant 18th century terraces and squalid Victorian row houses within a stone's throw of one another, not to mention the most famous Wandsworth landmark, Her Majesty's Prison, which currently houses some 1416 inmates and which, during the war, was home away from home for captured enemy spies! Handsworth isn't in London at all - it's in Birmingham and I went to King Edward VI School in Handsworth. Edgeworth is the name of a Polo Club in Warwickshire and there are no polo clubs in the dodgy ends of any UK towns or boroughs. Wordsworth isn't a place - he was an English poet.

The song "Christmas is All Around" plays over and over in the movie. We also see his video for the song, which looks like a Robert Palmer knockoff. He leaves a party to hang out with his manager who says, "You're supposed to be at Elton John's house."

There is a small glimpse of her in church during Peter and Juliet's wedding. She is seen sitting next to Jamie. The next time we see her is in the reception, talking on her cell phone and after that, asking Mark if he is in love with Peter.

Although he technically was not cheating on her, Karen was hurt even more so when she realized the expensive gold necklace was meant for someone else. Harry gave the necklace to his secretary who lived next door to Natalie, the woman for whom the Prime Minister searched.

Colin Frissell (Kris Marshall) thinks that he needs to be somewhere else in order to attract girls. He moves to America for a while, where he attracts girls within about 10 seconds of being in a bar. At the end of the film, he brings home two girls: one for himself and one for his best friend.

The PM sneaks in with Natalie and they watch the play together. They kiss just as the curtains go up and everyone sees them.

While Sarah has that whole inter-office relationship side story, she is also the one who has to leave it behind for family love. Sarah and Karl finally get together and go to her flat for the night but she's constantly interrupted by her brother, Michael, as he keeps calling on the phone from his institution. Karl asks her to stop answering the phone, but she decides that she can't say no to her brother. The two of them still work together, albeit under more strained circumstances.

Over the years, Spider-Man has grown up and moved from being a shy high school student to a college student with problems, to a teacher who finds love and happiness in marriage, and nowadays he is a member of the Avengers.

After briefly visiting Elton John's party he goes to his manager's house and explained that he loves him, as family.

David (who is also Karen's brother) has just been elected as the Prime Minister of Britain and although he is a great leader, many can't figure out why he isn't married. He falls for his personal assistant, Natalie, and while many of the others in 10 Downing Street describe her as fat, David can't get over her. When she is forced to leave Downing Street, he tracks her down, based on the street where her family lives and the two decide to have a quiet night at a children's play (coincidentally the one his niece and nephew are in). When the curtain is lifted towards the end of the play, David and Natalie are found kissing behind it. In the epilogue, it is clear that the two are inseparable. David returns from a trip and is pounced upon by Natalie at the gate, much to the delight of the paparazzi.

Olivia Olson was born in Los Angeles in 1992, the daughter of famous comedy writer Martin Olson. In 'Love Actually' Olivia (as Joanna Anderson) brings down the house at the Christmas concert when she sings 'All I Want for Christmas is You'. Writer/director Richard Curtis had Olivia trained to sing more like a little girl, since he was sure that her surprisingly mature singing voice wouldn't convince the film's audiences.

Mary Kate Olsen is one of half of the Olsen twins (the other half is Ashley). The twins shared the role of the cutie-pie Michelle in 'Full House'. I made up Alana and Elvira.
